About Us

Afrostrap is a unique, trendy, and casual apparel line that caters to people from different walks of life. Afrostrap offers an array of different, vibrant color schemes with each design. These designs are made to attract people with a high sense of fashion. This fashion is inspired by the creators deep love for afrobeats music, which is portrayed in the logo. To add more flair to the product, kente cloth a silk and cotton fabric from Africa is incorporated into the hats. The kente cloths intricate, and bright patterns have been carefully selected to match each color scheme for each individual hat. The kente is hand woven into the back strap of the hat to add the finishing touch.

Afrostrap initially started in December 2016, with the introduction of our dad hats. These hats can be worn with any casual outfit. Whether you're in jeans, a t-shirt, and sneakers taking a stroll in Central Park or lounging in a bathing suit and flip flops on Venice Beach. There are so many different ways these versatile hats can be worn. Be sure to complete your look with one of our hats.
